The ArmTech 2013 Armenia’s 6th Global High Tech Industry Conference took place under the high patronage of the Prime Minister of Armenia on October 4, 2013, at the Yerevan Computer R&D Institute, Yerevan, Armenia, in parallel with the Digitec 2013 Annual ICT/HighTech Expo.
The Conference was aimed at supporting the development of the IT/High Tech industry in Armenia by fostering establishment of business linkages and investment attraction, as well as promoting international collaboration and cooperation among high tech industry professionals, academia, foreign investors and government agencies for further growth in a dynamic, global free-market economy.
More than 200 people were expected to participate in the conference. The agenda included keynote speakers representing public sector, academia, and private sector from Armenia, the U.S., Russia, European Union, CIS and other countries, as well as the representatives of leading technology companies, namely Rostelecom, IBM, Cisco, D-Link, Mentor Graphics, National Instruments, and others.

Memorandums of Understanding on several new public-private partnership initiatives were signed in the scope of the Conference. The organizers and partners of the Conference were: the Government of Armenia, USAID EDMC, Enterprise Incubator Foundation, Synopsys Armenia, ViasphereTechnopark, the Armenian Development Agency, Free economic Zone Alliance, Armenian US Chamber of Commerce, and G2iA. Rostelecom Company was the sponsor of the event.
